AVEA’s Climate Care Program, Sustainable Equine Futures program and ZerOctober program are Australia’s only veterinary-specific sustainability programs. Clinics that take part work step by step through practical changes — from energy and water use to waste and clinical practices — guided by vets and vet nurses who’ve done the same in their own clinics. Choosing one of these practices is a way to support a business that’s putting real effort into the future of animals and the environment.
As AVEA grows we aim to offer official accreditation — but for now, these are the clinics actively working to improve how they operate for the future of our animals and our environment, while helping us to improve our program for future practices too.
